Location

Athelington Hall is situated in an idyllic location in North Suffolk. The surrounding area is a haven for wildlife and birds and there are many unspoilt areas to walk in. The popular market town of Framlingham is fifteen minutes drive away - the town is steeped in history and has a medieval castle, varied and attractive architecture to admire and a traditional Saturday market. Framlingham was recently voted in a national survey the ninth most popular town to live in throughout the country.

The breathtaking Suffolk Heritage Coast is only twenty five minutes drive away and the famous seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold form part of this historic Heritage Coast. There is also a castle at nearby Orford, and Minsmere Bird Reserve. The riverside town of Woodbridge is only twenty minutes away and the new Sutton Hoo National Trust site has recently opened just outside of Woodbridge.
