"Although the volcanic ash cloud prevented us from going on our planned trip, it certainly did not spoil our holiday as we were fortunate to book a perfect midweek break to this lovely cabin! "We came as a group of 4, it has been a fantastic couple of days. The lodge is very spacious, clean and has been a pleasure to stay in. The hot tub at the end of the lodge is by far the best feature. Weather was non-stop rain, but this didn't dampen our time here. Excellent time overall, will definitely be back in the summer."

"What a wonderful retreat, just what the doctor ordered! It has been a week of restful bliss, we will be back again. Managed to see some of the places to go, but there are still many more to see. My husband loved the fishing in moat around the farmhouse, and we were very impressed with the cabin with all the 'mod cons'."

"We have all had a lovely time here! We had a bad start to the week weather wise, but our cosy, comfortable well equipped lodge made up for it! You seem to have thought of everything (books, games, DVD's!) The countryside is beautiful, birds I have not seen for years appearing on our balcony! Our dog had a good time too.
